The flowers that bloom in the spring, tra la!

Man, it's been ages since I've seen the Mikado, or any Gilbert and Sullivan play. Ben mentioned the other day that we should watch one. (I'm not sure if he' knows what he's getting into.)

Maybe you have to be raised on it to really appreciate it.

I have a talk in español tomorrow. Trying to finish that up. Hurrah! I still feel like a preliminary type of infant speaking it sometimes. A functional infant, but oh how I wish for más fluidez.

We're going to Iowa Saturday to see Timmy & Marja! Should be fun (and chilly.) I used the last of my "personal money" in our budget on a sale pair of boots. I've never made it to the 10th of the month without completely spending all my personal money. Hah. Mint has been so helpful for budgeting!

Someone remarked on my "obscene use of the exclamation point" at work the other day. I didn't realize, but apparently I'm pretty liberal with my opinion of what's exciting.

It's so IRONIC that Sam and Antonio are assigned to the little town in Malaysia -- Kota Kinabalu -- where Sarah, Ben, Jonathan and I went. Just cracks me up.
